Lucille H. Lynch

Lucille Harriett Lynch-Beebe, 89, of Biglerville, formerly of Kane, PA entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 27, 2014 at her son’s home.

Born on Tuesday, August 5, 1925 in Wilcox, PA she was a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Emily Hallberg Eshbaugh. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Paul Stanko, Brad Stanko and Timothy Lynch and by her soul mate Anton Schulz-Peters.

Lucy had many talents and gifts. Most will remember her as the “deadeye” that numerous times held the honor of being the first woman in PA to get a buck on the first day of hunting season. On the dance floor, she was the epitome of grace and charm as she moved flawlessly in Anton’s arms. With a brush in her hand, she brought canvas to life as each stroke effortlessly created masterpieces of landscapes, wildlife and angels. Her creative talents even included playing the piano. Lucy was indeed a captivating woman with a great sense of flair and style. Whether riding her motorcycle or cruising in her convertible, Lucy was always a class act. She lived her life to the fullest and will be sorely missed by all those who loved her.

She is survived by four sons, John (Carol) Stanko of Kane, PA, Michael (Daryl) Stanko of Simsbury, CT, Scott (Lisa) Stanko of Biglerville, PA, and Brian (Nancy) Lynch of Ivyland, PA and two daughters, Jacqueline Walkerof Girard, PA and Kristine (Vic) Wheeler of Albion, PA. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

In honoring Lucy’s final request, there will be no services. Following cremation, her cremated remains will be scattered at the family’s convenience.

The family would like to especially thank Lutheran Home Care and Hospice of Adams County and Dr. Rita Harrison for their exemplary care of their mom.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Lutheran Home Care and Hospice of Adams County, 260 W. High Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
