Lucille E. Kopp, 91, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Homewood at Plum Creek.
Born on Monday, July 3, 1922 in Hampton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Grace Myers Rickrode. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Heist, her second husband, Arthur L. Kopp, a brother, Dale Rickrode and a sister, Maribel “Ricki” Baker.
She graduated from New Oxford High School and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She had been the owner of the Blind Center Shop in Hanover for many years.
Survivors include two sisters, Jane Myers and Gayle Smith, both of Hanover; three step-daughters, Nancy Brooks of Hanover, Toni Milburn of Indiana and Tammy Mayberry of Tennessee; six step-grandchildren, Vanessa Mummert, Djan Groft, Julie Smith, Ben Brooks, Mindy Smith and Katie King and their families; and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, the graveside service will be held at 2 pm Friday, May 16, 2014 at Rest Haven Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating.
