Louise Hausenfluck

Louise A. Hausenfluck, 92, of New Oxford, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community.

Born on Monday, September 15, 1924 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Elsie Hemler Shrader. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, W. Donald Hausenfluck, who died in 1988; and two children, Carole Reachard and Alan Hausenfluck. Louise was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish.

Survivors include three children, Donna Hikes and her husband, Craig, of Dillsburg, Don Hausenfluck and his wife, Carol, of Calera, AL, and Mark Hausenfluck and his wife, Stephanie, of Hanover; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Pam Hausenfluck, wife of Alan, of Mesa, AZ; and a son-in-law, Stan Reachard, husband of Carol, of Henderson, NV.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Drive, Hanover, with The Rev. Joseph R. Howard celebrating. Burial will follow in the Conewago Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
