Loretta May Geppi

Loretta May Geppi, 55, of Hanover, PA died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at her residence.

Born on May 16, 1955 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Mabel Ida Gerwig Felkner of Westminster, MD, and the late John Felkner. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph John Geppi.

She had been employed by the Carroll County School District as a bus driver until her retirement in 2005. She was a collector of gnomes and Thomas Kinkade art and collectibles.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Vincent A. Geppi, Jr. of Hanover; two children, Vincent Anthony “Tony” Geppi, III, of Finksburg, MD, and Angelina Marie Goodwin of Abbottstown, PA; six grandchildren, Brittney, Joseph, Madyson, Ashley, Kiersten and Jayden; a brother, John Felkner, Jr., and his wife, Donna, of Union Bridge, MD, and three nephews, Trevor and Skylar Felkner and Christopher Loberto.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Monday, March 28, 2011 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Westminster, MD. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 3 to 5 pm Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
