Lois S. Dehoff
Lois S. deHoff, 91, of Stillwater, PA entered into God’s eternal care Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Bonham Nursing Center in Stillwater.
Born June 21, 1919 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Albert N. and Minnie Griffith deHoff. She was a 1937 graduate of Forest Park High School in Baltimore and received a bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia Bible College in 1940.
Miss deHoff was a volunteer at various area nursing homes including, Hanover Hall, Luckenbaugh’s Personal Care, Homewood, and the former Hillview at Hanover Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith and devoted her life to serving God and spreading His word.
Survivors include two nieces, Dale Livingston of Maryland, and Heather Kishbaugh of Bloomsburg, PA; a nephew, Mark deHoff of Indianapolis, IN; and her great nieces and nephews, Zachary, Sarah, Jesse, Joshua, and Seth deHoff, Rebecca Livingston, and Phoebe, Jessica and Nicholas Kishbaugh.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with burial to follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Gerald Dunlap will officiate. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held 10-11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Missions, PO Box 2727, Orlando, FL 32802 or to the Wyoming Baptist Church, 123-127 E. Wyoming Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19120.
