Lloyd D. Baker

Lloyd Dixon Baker, 85, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.

Born on Saturday, September 9, 1939 in Staunton, VA, he was a son of the late Walter Dixon Baker and Carole Elizabeth Agnor Baker. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Mary Jane Baker, who died in 2020; and a brother, Theodore Walter Baker. Lloyd retired from the Western Mill and Lumber Company in Pikesville, MD after more than 20 years of service and he was of the Christian faith. He will be long remembered for his love of going to yard sales with Mary Jane, but also enjoyed crabbing in his boat followed by crab feasts with his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Baker and her family; four step-daughters; a sister, Judy Bailey and her husband, David; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held.
