Lisa A. Hernandez, 51, of Hanover, beloved wife of Max Hernandez, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 28, 2024 at UPMC Hanover Hospital.
Born on Monday, October 2, 1972 in Blacksburg, VA, Lisa was the daughter of James (Robin) Aydlett of Morehead City, NC, and the late, Jean Wizniak Aydlett. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Amy Eller; and numerous aunts and uncles. Lisa was a graduate of West York High School and spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the Spanish Gettysburg Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.
Lisa's life encompassed roles as a wife, mother, daughter, niece, grandmother, and friend, with her devotion to God being her greatest source of joy. This steadfast faith assures our family of a future reunion with Lisa, and other loved ones who have passed, in a restored earthly paradise. We look forward to being reunited with her in the conditions that Jehovah envisioned for us.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of nearly 28 years, are two daughters, Denia A. Hernandez and her husband, Nelson Chiuz, Kensy Y. Buch and her husband, Brian; a son, Jonathan Hernandez; five grandchildren, Nelson Chiuz, Jr., Sander Chiuz, and Kamden, Elena, and Julia Buch; and her beloved beagle, Chispa.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Gettysburg, 1274 Highland Ave Rd in Gettysburg.
