Linda D. Sandruck, 63, of Hanover, loving wife of Thomas L. “Tom” Sandruck, passed peacefully into God’s care on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Hanover Hospital.
Born on Saturday, November 29, 1952 in Hanover, she was a daughter of Naomi G. (Hoff) McMaster of New Oxford and the late John R. McMaster. She was a 1970 graduate of Spring Grove High School and had most recently worked for Utz Quality Foods. Linda was a member of St. David’s United Church of Christ and enjoyed singing and reading. She had a special fondness for her dogs and birds. In keeping with her heart of compassion, she donated to the Gift of Life so that others could be helped at the time of her death.
In addition to her husband of 44 years and her mother, survivors include a daughter, Sherrie L. Rosenau and her fiancé, Brad Kraft, of Dover; two sisters, Kathy Ulrich and her husband, Jerry, of Franklintown, and Laura Taylor and her husband, Brian, of Dillsburg; three brothers, John McMaster, Jr. and his wife, Becky, of Spring Grove, Brian McMaster and his wife, Janet, of Goosecreek, SC, and Scott McMaster and his wife, Tina, of Hanover; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A service to celebrate the life of Linda will be held at 2 pm Friday, August 5, 2016 at St. David’s United Church of Christ with The Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service. The family is asking that everyone dress casual and comfortable.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. David’s United Church of Christ, 142 Hobart Road, Hanover, PA 17331 or to Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331 to help defray the final expenses.
