Lewis "Lew" Loughlin
Lewis Loughlin, 88, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 17, 2022.
Born on Sunday, June 17, 1934 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Russell William Loughlin and Gertrude Naomi Rowland Loughlin. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn. Lew was a 1952 graduate of Norristown Senior High School and was the owner and operator of Lew’s Appliances, a company he started in 1977. He also enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. A devoted family man, he was a dedicated member of the Clearview Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Young’s Road in Hanover.
Survivors include seven children, Will Loughlin of Los Angeles, CA, Mackinzie Loughlin of Hanover, David Loughlin of Las Vegas, NV, Laura Loughlin of Three Springs, PA, Peggie Sue Loughlin and Rebecca Mensch, both of Elmira, NY, and Dennis Loughlin of New Oxford; a sister, Betty Nuttall of King of Prusia, PA; two step-children, Brandon Wilson of Buffalo, NY and Kristin Wilson of Mechanicsburg; and four grandchildren.
A private service is planned.
