Lettie M. Hershey

Lettie M. Wolfgang Hershey, 98, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community.



Born Friday, June 16, 1916 in Brodbecks, she was a daughter of the late Lewis W. and Rachel A. Utz Wolfgang. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Richard C. Hershey, who died in 2008; six brothers; and five sisters. Mrs. Hershey she was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, and was a retired employee of Middleburg Manufacturing, where she had worked for many years.



Survivors include her daughter, Donna L. Hoke and her husband, James, of Hanover; three grandchildren, Christopher, Scott and Ryan Hoke; and three great-grandchildren.



The funeral will be held at 11 am Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, with The Rev. Brenda Marin officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
