LeRoy D. Weaver, 76, of Hanover, beloved husband of Nancy E. Stawski Weaver, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at SpiriTrust Lutheran The Village at Utz Terrace.
Born on Sunday, July 7, 1946, he was the son of the late Earl J. and Mildred Leppo Weaver. LeRoy was a maintenance worker for many years and enjoyed, hunting, fishing, camping, farm shows, and word puzzles. He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church, Littlestown VFW Post 6954, the Methodist Men, a life member of Alpha Fire Co. #1, and a life member of the Catholic War Veterans Home Association of Bonneauville.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 32 years are two nephews and a niece, Douglas E. Hilker and his wife, Nancy, Lorie A. Klunk and her husband, Doug, and Randy L. Hilker and his wife, Faye,; six great nieces and nephews, Brittany Hilker, Jennifer Scobie and her husband, Tommy, Danielle Klunk, Andrew Hilker and his wife, Vanessa, Brent Hilker and his companion, Alicia, and John Hilker and his companion, Chasidy Gladfelter; and 14 great-great nieces and nephews, Brooke, Adlyn, Emmit, Maddox, Weslee, Teak, Ronan, Brett, Alexia, Vivian, Theron, Harlon, Preston, and Cayna.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 11 AM at St. Vincent De Paul Church 220 3rd Street, Hanover with the Rev. Michael P. Reid II officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the mass. Burial will be held in Rest Haven Cemetery.
