Services: The Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, January 26, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with The Rev. Joseph F. Gotwalt officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation: The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Leon F. Fink, Sr., 88, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Hanover Hall.Born on August 20, 1920, he was a son of the late Charles D. and Anna Harding Fink. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Fink, and his brothers, John Fink, Robert Fink, Charles Fink, Henry Fink, George Fink, Richard Fink and Thomas Fink and a sister Dorothy Fink.Mr. Fink was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army. He had been employed by Coulson Heel for over 40 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was a former member of Holy Name Society. An avid Boston Red Sox fan, he enjoyed bowling and walking around town.Survivors include his son, Leon F. Fink, Jr. and his wife Rosemarie of Bethlehem; a grandson, Joseph R. Fink, Sr. and wife Amy of Easton; two great-grandsons, Joseph R. Fink, Jr. and Alex Fink of Easton; and his sister-in-law, Arlene Fink of Hanover.
