Leon G. Baker, Sr., 84, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg.
Born on Saturday, May 26, 1934 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Marian Baker Nicholson. Leon was a member of New Hope Faith Community and was a retired employee of PH Glatfelter. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a member and Past Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2506.
Survivors include his son, Leon G. Baker, Jr. of Elizabethtown; two granddaughters, Samantha and Jennifer Baker; and a step-brother, Harry E. Baublitz of Hanover.
A private service is planned with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
