Leola Margaret Wennick, 89, of Hanover, passed away Thursday morning, February 19, 2015 at her home.
Born on Sunday, July 12, 1925 in Baltimore, Leola was the loving wife of the late John Floyd Wennick, and the mother of eight children, Diana, the late Barbara, Ellen, Bettie, Denise, Thomas, Victor and Michael.
Her love for Jesus, her Saviour, was evident in both word and deed and her faith was in Christ alone. It was by God’s grace and only by God’s grace that she was saved. Her eternal home is now in heaven and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her love and kindness will never be forgotten.
“Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever, Amen.” Jude 1: 24-25
A private service for the family is being planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway - Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
