Services: A service to remember and celebrate his life will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday morning at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.
Visitation: Viewing will be Wednesday evening 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
Larry W. Eller, Sr., 64, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care 7:44 A.M., Saturday morning, April 14, 2007 at his home. He was the loving husband of Cindy Curry Eller to whom he married on August 17, 1985. Born in Edmond, WVA on February 9, 1943, he was the son of the late William and Lottie Reed Eller. Larry retired on February 1, 2005 as a Primier Custom Cab Fabricator for Shindler Elevator after 33 years of service. While growing up in Adams County, he attended Gettysburg High School. Larry also attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 7 children Virginia Eller of Altoona, Larry Eller, Jr. , Sandra Eller, Phillip Reed and wife Shannon, Keith Reed and wife Andrea all of Hanover, Stephanie Talpas and husband Steve of Abbottstown, Melissa Bair and husband Michael, Jr. of Hanover, 9 grandchildren, a brother Marvin Eller of Spring Grove, 2 sisters Liz Shultz of Gettysburg and Ruby Heller of Aspers. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Bonnie McDannell, Rose Carbaugh, Margie Sanders, and a brother Delbert Eller. A service to remember and celebrate his life will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday morning at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Viewing will be Wednesday evening 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Gettysburg. The Rev. Bradley H. Dayett will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403. Serving as Pallbearers will be Phillip Reed, Keith Reed, Michael Bair, Jr., Steve Talpas, Marvin Eller, and Thomas Mathis.
