Kreugh Brennan

Kreugh E. Brennan, 89, of Hanover passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Homewood at Plum Creek.

Born on Monday, March 11, 1935 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Elizabeth Johnson Eichelberger. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John T. Brennan, who died in 2011; a son, Thomas A. Brennan; and a great-grandson, Ethan Butz. Kreugh was a graduate of the University of Maryland where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Pi. She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover. An avid knitter, she enjoyed making Christmas stockings for her children and grandchildren. Kreugh loved her dogs and enjoyed travelling, especially going to the beach.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Meyer and her husband, George, and Jennifer Cowan and her husband, Joe; a son, Michael Brennan and his wife, Barbara; five grandchildren, Jenna Butz and her husband, Lee, Laura Michaliszyn and her husband, Noah, and Megan, Sarah and Thomas Cowan; three great-grandchildren, Bennett, Emilia Butz and Miles and Max Michaliszyn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road in Hanover by The Rev. Michael Rothan.
