Kenneth E. Snyder, 87, of Hanover, beloved husband of Shirley Mae Lightner Snyder, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his home.
Born on Sunday, September 15, 1935 in Taneytown, MD, he was a son of the late Russell Walker and Mildred Naomi Simpson Snyder. Kenneth was a 1953 graduate of Eichelberger High School and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on York Street. He served in the United States Army, was the former owner of Snyder Aluminum in Hanover and retired from Kohl Building Product in Reading, PA. Kenneth belonged to the VFW Post 2506, the McSherrystown Home Association, and was a member of the National Chapter of the AARP.
Surviving in addition to his wife of almost 70 years are numerous cousins.
Services will be held privately.
