Kenneth Albert Midwig
Kenneth Albert Midwig, Jr., 41, of York Springs, entered into God’s eternal care Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at York Hospital.
Born April 1, 1970 in York, he was a son of Annabell Midwig of York and the late Kenneth Albert Midwig, Sr.. He was an employee of Bermudian Springs High School and took great pride in hanging and finishing drywall as a subcontractor. He enjoyed “stargazing” and late night campfires with his family.
To all his friends and family, he would want you to keep moving forward.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his longtime companion of 23 years, Lori Gallagher of York Springs; three children, Troy Midwig of Hanover, Noah Midwig and, Karly Midwig both of the home; two brothers, Gary Midwig of Hanover and Richie Midwig of East Berlin; and his step-father, Bill Shenberger, Sr. of York.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 1:00PM Monday, June 13, 2011 at the St. Jacob’s Union Church Cemetery, East George Street, York-New Salem, with The Rev. Kenneth S. Heasley officiating.
