Kenneth David “Ken” Fuhrman, 88, of Hanover, beloved husband of Vivian Crawford Fuhrman, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at his home.
Born on Sunday, April 2, 1933 in Hanover, he was the son of the late David and Treva Geiman Fuhrman. He is also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Fuhrman; and a sister, Kathleen Unger.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Ken served during the Korean War with the 3rd Armored Division and worked as a Forklift Operator at the former Hanover Wire for many years and retired from Gerard Daniel - Keystone Wire Cloth. A well known fast pitch softball pitcher in Hanover and the surrounding areas, he enjoyed hunting, golfing, camping and bowling and spent many hours doing word search books.
In addition to his wife of 67 years, survivors include, two children, Brian Fuhrman and his wife, Eve, and Sheila Oaster and her husband, Tim; a daughter-in-law, Julie Fuhrman; five grandchildren, Troy and Jeremy Fuhrman, Michelle Mowrer, and Derek and Jordyn Oaster; two step-grandchildren, John and Joe Pulley; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Daphne and Paige Fuhrman.
Services will be private.
