Keith E. Rodgers, 51, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2015 at his home.
Born on Tuesday, July 14, 1964, Keith was a son of the late Robert D. and Verdella J. DeRone Rodgers. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Karen Rodgers and a brother, Rich Hoff.
A 1982 graduate of New Oxford High School, he had formerly worked at Hillandale Farms as a plant manager. He was a member of the Hanover Loyal Order of Moose #227 and the Hanover Home Association. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved being around children and hosted many kids with the Fresh Air Fund.
Survivors include three children, Chelsy M. Rodgers, Arthur E. “AJ” Robinson, III, and Carly E. Rodgers; one granddaughter, Amiyah L. Robinson all of Hanover; one brother, Steven E. Rodgers of New Oxford; two sisters, Diana M. Pucci and her husband, Joe, of Bronx, NY, and Michelle L. Laughman and her husband, Bill, of New Oxford; a step-mother, Linda L. Rodgers of New Oxford; and many nieces and nephews including the extended Rhodes Family.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Apostolic Ministries, 955 Baltimore Street, Hanover, PA 17331 with The Rev. Mike Forbes officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11am until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Fresh Air Fund, 633 3rd Avenue, 14th floor, New York, NY 10017.
