Kay Edwards

Kay Edwards, 75, of Hanover, beloved wife of Steve Edwards, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at her home.

Born on Tuesday, August 31, 1948 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Earl J. and Ethel K. Rhodes Hoffacker. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Hoffacker. Kay was a 1966 graduate of Hanover High School and operated Country Manor Florist for many years. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and along with Steve, they hosted 17 exchange students.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, Kay is survived by a sister, Martha Hoffacker of Bethesda, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at St. Vincent dePaul Church, 220 Third Street in Hanover by The Rev. Michael P. Reid, II. Burial will follow in St. David’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Tuesday.
