Kathryn S. Ruhlman

Kathryn S. Ruhlman, 94, of Daytona Beach, FL entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, November 18, 2012.


Born February 23, 1918 in Carroll County, MD, she was a daughter of the late Noah H. and Mamie Kate Feeser Ruhlman. After graduating from high school in Manchester, MD, she was a nanny and housekeeper for the Warehime family in Lineboro, MD for several years. After living in the Hanover area, she moved to Florida to be near her sister. She later became a Licensed Practical Nurse at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, near the nursing home where she died, working there for 20 years. She enjoyed the company of visitors that came to see her.



Kathryn is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.


The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in St. David’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.


Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
