The funeral will be held at 12 noon Friday, May 29, 2009 at Trinity United Church of Christ with The Rev. Dr. Karin Stork-Whitson officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation:
A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Kathryn Laugerman Easley, 95, of Hanover entered into God’s eternal care Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Homewood at Plum Creek.Born January 30, 1914 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alvilda McKonley Laugerman. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 68 years, Claude J. Easley, who died in 2001.Mrs. Easley was a 1932 graduate of Hanover High School and was employed by Middleburg Manufacturing for 35 years. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and the AARP Chapter 1842, and performed volunteer work with Toys for Tots, P.A.L. and Meals on Wheels.Survivors include her two daughters, Linda McDougall and her husband Leslie of Gilbertsville, PA and Sylvia Freed and her husband Robert of Lansdale, PA; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
