Kathryn A. Grove

Kathryn A. Grove, 63, beloved wife of James B. Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at Johns Hopkins Hospital on Tuesday, May 18, 2010.



Born October 15, 1946 in Hanover, she was the daughter of Agnes Livelsberger Kale and the late Joseph L. Kale. Kathryn was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School. She was a loving wife, caring mother & grandmother and loyal friend.



In addition to her mother and husband of 42 years, Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Theresa Marie Black of Connelly, NY and children, Erika, Shakiyla, Timothy and Darrian; her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Grove and partner, Sai Kong of New York, NY; as well as her son, Daniel Patrick Grove and fiance, Dana Chrismer of York, PA. Elizabeth and Sai are expecting a son on October 15th—what would have been Kathryn's 64th birthday.



Kathryn is also survived by her three brothers, Joseph, Michael and Robert Kale; her sister Rosemary Kale; along with many nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 6:00 PM at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. A time to share memories and celebrate Kathryn's life will follow the service from 7 to 9:00 PM.
