Kathleen M. Knapp, 95, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Homewood at Plum Creek.
Born on Friday, December 2, 1927 in Horseheads, NY, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Crete Ellen Riley McAtee. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard Everett Knapp, who died in 2011; and two sisters, Eldene and Louise McAtee. Kathleen was a 1945 graduate of Horseheads (NY) High School and was a retired employee of Ingersoll Rand. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on York Street in Hanover and enjoyed painting, reading, playing the piano and swimming at the YMCA.
A private service is being planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 127 York Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
