June Delaney Strickhouser
June DeLaney Strickhouser, 60, beloved wife of Greg V. Strickhouser, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover Hospital.
Born on Monday, April 25, 1960 in Essex, MD, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Arthur Phillips, Sr. and Magdalene Belcher Phillips. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Christopher Gaul. A mother to all, June attended Kenwood High School in Essex and enjoyed singing, swimming, spending time with her family, and chasing the sunset.
In addition to her husband of 15 years, survivors include three children, Heather N. Aldons and her husband, Aubrey, of Hanover, James H. DeLaney, III, of Littlestown, and Magdalene DeLaney of Hanover; five grandchildren, Alexzander Noel, Alisyn Noel, Luca DeLaney, Logan Lombardo, and Lydia Lombardo; two sisters, Patricia Sinclair and her husband, Lawrence, and Pamela Gaul; and a brother, Joseph Phillips, Jr. and his partner, Chris Buhrman.
In compliance with health and public safety directives during this time, the service will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
