June T. Huff
June T. Huff, 82, of Bonneauville, beloved wife of Spencer E. Huff, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Spiritrust Lutheran - The Village at Utz Terrace.
Born on Monday, September 23, 1935 in Gettysburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Bernadine Emma Keiser Clapsaddle. June was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a former employee of Sylvia Garment and Toby’s Sportswear in York. She had a great affection for animals.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 30 years, is her daughter, Sherry Melo of Hanover; a grandson, Andrew Melo and his wife, Arizona, of Westminster, MD; great-granddaughter, Audrey Melo; three sisters, Effie Flickinger of McSherrystown, Mary E. Little and Deloris Hamberger and her husband, John, all of Hanover; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Clapsaddle and Donald McKenrick; and a sister, Jane Kemp.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 am Thursday, May 24, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover by The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
