Julie Butler Warner, 51, of Hanover, beloved wife of Thomas A. Warner, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.
Born on Friday, July 8, 1966 in Salamanca, NY, she was a daughter of Charles G. “Chuck” Butler of Hanover and the late Elizabeth “Molly” Moran Butler. She was a 1985 graduate of Brevard High School in Brevard, NC, served with the US Army Reserves and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Julie was a nanny, server and cook at the Railside Family Diner in Hanover for several years. She loved cooking, traveling and eating, and especially enjoyed going to Hershey Bears and Harrisburg Senators games.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 15 years and her father, two sisters, Cherie Raubenstine and her husband, Andrew, and Miri Kemper and her husband, Neal; her step-mother, Pat Szekely Butler, all of Hanover; five nephews, Jake Kemper and his wife, Kylie, Cole and Zach Kemper, and Dylan and Jared Raubenstine; and a niece, Frankie Tyson and her husband, Tyler.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. A prayer service will follow at 7 pm with The Rev. Mr. Thomas Aumen officiating.
