Judy K. Crane Snell, 71, of Littlestown, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Hanover Hospital.
Born on Saturday, January 1, 1944 in Depew, NY, Judy was a daughter of the late Harold Gilbert Crane and Genevieve Grace Scanlon Crane. She was also preceded in death by three brothers; Dennis, Leon, and Richard Crane.
Judy was employed by English America in Westminster, MD until her retirement in 2001. She was also a member of the Gates of Praise Worship Center in Littlestown and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Norwich, NY. Judy will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Charles R. Snell; six children, Felicia DeFranco and her husband Joe of Newburgh, NY, Denise Daly and her husband Scott of Burnham, PA; Kevin Snell of Atlanta, GA, Mark Snell of Johnstown, NY, Scott Snell and his wife Patricia of Fishersville, VA, and Kelly Shrader and her husband Daryl of Chambersburg, PA; 14 grandchildren; Cory Nelson, Kayla Daly, Frank DeFranco, Tren Snell, Shelby Crawley, Jerika Snell, Brandon Livelsberger, Jenna Snell, Lisa DeFranco, Kaitlyn Livelsberger, Jonathan Snell, Rachel Daly, Dylan Shrader, and Jayden Snell; eight great-grandchildren; Jordyn, Preston, Cael, Aisalynn, Talon, Gabriel, Koen, and Rion; and one sister, Marge Hulse of Stuarts Draft, VA.
A memorial service will be held at Gates of Praise Worship Center on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2pm with Pastor Samuel A. Garrett officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hammondsport, NY at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gates of Praise Worship Center, 5010 Baltimore Pike North, Littlestown, PA 17340.
