Joyce E. Fodor
On April 19, 2022, Heaven and Joyce E. Fodor were rejoicing together. She passed away peacefully at home at the age of 84.
Born on Wednesday, May 26, 1937 in East Berlin, she was the daughter of the late M. Stuart and Annie Maria Miller Danner. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Franck Fodor, who died in 1985. Joyce was a retired administrative assistant for Bobby Simpson at the Crispus Attucks Association in York. She was a member of the Salvation Army – York Corps, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed Bible study in her home and hand weaving.
Survivors include her three children, Jonathan Andrew Fodor and his wife, Cindy, Carmen Renee Buckley and her husband, Mike, and Julian Stuart Fodor and his wife, Missy; a brother, William H. Miller and his wife, Deb; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Salvation Army, York Chapel, 50 East King Street in York on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Hanover and Spring Grove, 440 Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331 or to the Salvation Army – York Corps, 50 E. King Street, York, PA 17401.
