Josephine M. “Tootie” Phillips, 65, of Bonneauville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 2, 2009 at Hanover Hospital.An avid reader, Mrs. Phillips was born September 30, 1943 in Hanover.Survivors include her four children, Mary Townsend and husband, William, of Waynesboro, VA, Jeannie Kilgore and husband, Kevin, of Hanover, VA, Daniel Chrismer of Waynesboro, VA, and David Chrismer and wife, Tracy, of Troy, VA; three brothers, Harry Bowers and wife, Madeline, of Bonneauville, David Toomey and wife, Dee, of Hanover, PA, and Benjamin LePore and wife, Joyce, of York; one sister, Barbara LePore of York; 10 grandchildren, Bryan, Brittany, Ashley, Thomas, Kayla, Candace, Torrie, Kristina, Shelby and Sydney; two great-grandchildren, Briann and Alec; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
