John A. "Jt" Tomaszewski

John A. “JT” Tomaszewski, 73, of New Oxford, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Gettysburg Hospital.

Born on Tuesday, October 23, 1945 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Leon J. and Jean L. Barbieri Tomaszewski, and was also preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Kathern Lee Kirby Tomaszewski. John was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion in Wormleysburg and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He retired from Cadbury Schwepps in August of 2008 after serving in various capacities, including manager.

Survivors include his son, John Tomaszewski; a brother, Leon J. Tomaszewski; and one niece.

A funeral will be held at 11 am Monday, October 29, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Heidlersburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing one hour prior to the service.
