John Stiffler Jr.
John Stiffler, Jr., 68, of York, beloved husband of Janet Homola Stiffler, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Wellspan York Hospital.
Born on Wednesday, October 12, 1955 in Colver, PA, he was a son of the late John Stiffler, Sr. and Betty Mahute Stiffler. John was previously employed with Bethel Mines and the former P.H Gladfelter. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Loyal Order of Moose Hanover Lodge No. 227, The Fraternal Order of Eagles - Aerie #1406, Hanover AMVETS Post #22, and the American Legion Post 298. John also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 41 years, is one sister, Joyce Cunningham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 19, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover with the Rev. Samuel Miller officiating. Entombment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery..
