Services: A service to celebrate Mr. Sellman's life will be held 12:00pm Saturday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.
Visitation: His viewing will be Saturday from 10:00AM until the time of service. Rev. Joseph Gotwalt will officiate at the service.
JOHN LYNN SELLMAN JR., 48, of McSherrystown, died unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, January 29, 2007. Born on February 8, 1958 in Hanover, he was the son of the late John Lynn and Loretta Marie Topper Sellman. Mr. Sellman was a member of the Class of 1976 of Hanover High School where he played football and was active in the dramatic arts. His love of cars eventually led to him working with his parents at their business SHS Associates. After the death of his parents, he became the owner of the business and changed the named to Sellman Body Shop. He is survived by his sons Bryan Michael Asper of York, Dustin Louis Sellman and his wife Amy of New Oxford, and Ryan Lynn Sellman of McSherrystown; a daughter Danielle Nicole Sellman of New Oxford; a grandson Wyatt Louis Sellman; his brother Robert Louis Sellman and his wife BJ of Hatboro; a sister Linda Marie Sellman of Hanover, and his former wife Jacqueline Asper Mueller of Hanover.
Memorials: Mr. Sellman's family requests that contributions in his memory be made to the York Cancer Center, c/o Peggy Tilton, 25 Monument Road, Suite 194, York, PA 17403.
