John W. Rill

John W. Rill, 96, of Hanover, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.

Born July 14, 1914 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Irvin C. and Annie Mary Leppo Rill. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanette Helwig and Rosella Mummert; and a brother, Claude Rill. John was a retired employee of Leister’s Furniture and was a member of the Hanover Eagles Aerie # 1406.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Jane Jacoby, and a brother, Irvin W. Rill both of Hanover; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Rest Haven Cemetery with The Rev. Kenneth S. Heasley officiating. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held 6-8:00 PM Tuesday at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
