JohnThomas Rebert, of Hanover, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center following a brief illness.
Born in Hanover, he was the son of the late John Gilbert Rebert and Mary Elizabeth Brodbeck Rebert. He was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Rebert was a retired employee of Black & Decker and had served with the US Army.
Survivors include two sisters, Jean R. Brady and her husband, Daniel, and Constance E. Franklin and her husband, Richard, all of Hanover; a niece, Kelly F. Noppenberger of Eldersburg, MD; a nephew, D. Robert Brady of Lemoyne; three great-nieces, Kathryn, Anna and Rebecca Noppenberger; and an uncle, Cyril Allen Brodbeck of Hanover.
The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Conewago Chapel Cemetery with military honors being rendered by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle Street, New Oxford, PA 17350.
