John B. Null
John B. Null, 89, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Seaton Springwood Assisted Living Center with his children by his side.
Born on Saturday, July 29, 1933, he was a son of the late Ellsworth and Helen Lawrence Null. He was also preceded in death by his wife of nearly 65 years, Judith A. Null, who died February 13, 2023; a sister, Rebecca Geisey; and a brother, Roy Null.
John attended St. Joseph’s School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He spent may years working for W.L Sterner, Inc., Beckers Lawn & Garden, and the Hanover Movie Theater. John was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing golf, watching horse racing, and visiting Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include four children, Rebecca Therit, David Null, Joseph Null, and Jennifer Graham and her husband, John; three grandsons, Adrian Barnhart, Joseph Null, and Derek Graham; a number of step grandchildren; one great grandson, Trevor Barnhart and one great grandchild on the way; three nieces, Jane Griffith, Tammy Wolf, and Karen Panebaker; and two nephews, John Geisey and Ron Geisey.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
