John A. Nace

John A. Nace, 55, of Spring Grove, beloved husband of Abigail E. Altland Nace, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Hanover Hospital.
Born on Thursday, November 16, 1961 in Hanover, he was a son of Raymond L. and Charlotte M. Myers Nace. He was preceded in death by his father in-law, Richard E. Altland. A 1979 graduate of Spring Grove High School, John enjoyed all things sports related. He was a member of the West York VFW Post 8951 and of Mount Carmel Lutheran Church in Hanover.
In addition to his wife of 35 years, survivors include two sons, Justin E. Nace and Chad A. Nace of Spring Grove; two sisters, Lori Eichelberger of York and Suzanne Elicker of Thomasville; two brothers, Robert Nace of Abbottstown and Richard Nace of Spring Grove; and a cousin, who was his best friend, Melvin Nace, and his wife, Laura of Spring Grove.
A funeral will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church with The Rev. David L. DeLong officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing held one hour prior to the service.
