Joe Bair Sr.

Joe Bair, Sr., 76, of Hanover, beloved husband of Sharon E. Livelsberger Bair, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at UPMC Hanover Hospital.

Born on Sunday, November 16, 1947 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Richard Benedict and Mildred Pauline Luckenbaugh Bair. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lee Bair; a brother, Tom Bair; and a sister, Shirley Massimer. Joe was employed by Emeco Industries and Hanover Wire Cloth. He was a member of the McSherrystown and Hanover Home Associations. Joe enjoyed yard sales, and most of all enjoyed being with his great grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of nearly 57 years, are two sons, Joseph Bair, Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Andrew Bair and his wife, Bobbi; seven grandchildren, Katie and her husband, Josh, Kayla and her husband, Josh, Karli, Kori and her husband, Josh, Stevie and his wife, Alicia, Shania, and Gage; 12 great grandchildren, Joshua, Racquel, Kylie, Sophia, Kloie, Cohen, Alyiah, Brody, Kendall, Sylas, Kammie, and Aisley; four brothers, Bob Bair and his wife, Chris, Dick Bair and his wife, Norma, Harold Bair, and Mike Bair; sister-in-law, Louella Bair; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, the family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
