Jessie M. Sipe, 92, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care Tuesday evening, November 13, 2007 at Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Sipe. Born in York on July 11, 1915, she was the daughter of Ella Smith Strickler. Jessie had been active at the Golden Visions Community Senior Center in Hanover. She is survived by 2 daughters Patricia Crull of Dallastown, Doreene M. Shenberger and husband Gene of New Oxford, 3 sons Charles R. Sipe and wife Kay F. of Red Lion, Barry L. Sipe of Hanover, Ronald L. Sipe and wife Linda of New Oxford, 12 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren. Jessie was also preceded in death by a son Robert D. Spangler. A funeral service to remember and celebrate her life will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday morning at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Viewing will be at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon at St. Luke Cemetery, 2666 Furnace Rd., (New Bridgeville) Felton, PA 17322. Pastor Ronald Wettstein will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
