Jeffrey Richard Borneman, 41, of Baltimore, MD entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Med Star Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore.
Born on Monday, November 14, 1977 in Cheverly, MD, he was a son of Richard Borneman and Carol Podolachek Borneman of Abbottstown, PA.
Jeffrey grew up in Clinton, MD and graduated from Surrattsville High School in Clinton in 1996. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Towson University in Towson, MD in 2001 which also included a semester in Japan. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore in 2017.
He worked as a designer for Premier Kites and Design in Hyattsville, MD, as a patent illustrator for Patents Ink in Pikesville, MD, and as a student assistant for the University of Baltimore Library Archives. His passions were writing and illustrating comic strips and comic books, Japanese anime, songwriting, and performing with his band.
Always a very creative person, Jeffrey will long be remembered for his talents as an artist, illustrator, writer, and musician. Jeffrey was a wonderful son, brother, and friend. His shining light will be greatly missed.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother Kevin D. Borneman and sister-in-law Sara Meyers, both of Waltham, MA. Also aunts, uncles, and cousins from PA and NH and dear friend Kathryn Hudson and her daughter from Baltimore, MD. He was married to Shari Fedak from 2001 through 2014. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mabel Borneman and Mildred and Frank Podolachek.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11AM at Rest Haven Cemetery, 400 Westminster Avenue, Hanover, with Certified Celebrant Kasie J. Morris officiating.
