Jeanne Carol Fink Marsh, of Hanover, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at York Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Minerva Fink of Manhasset, Long Island, NY, and wife of the late Kenneth S. Marsh, who died in 1994. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Laidlaw Fink.
Jeanne received her Associate of Arts degree from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont, and continued her education at Adelphi College in Garden City, NY with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing where she sat for and was awarded her Registered Nurse status. She furthered her education in her chosen field by attending and graduating from Columbia University, in New York City, where she received her Master of Arts degree.
Active in the community, she was a member of the board of the Visiting Nurses Association, Hanover Hospital Auxiliary, YWCA, Hanover Garden Club and was a Master Gardener. She was also a member of the Hanover Country Club, Hanover Area Historical Society and the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include her son, Andrew K.L. Marsh and his wife, Jennifer, of Black Mountain, NC; a grandson, Tucker Andrew Marsh; and a sister-in-law, Anne-Lise Fink of Trappe, MD.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am September 12, 2017 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 890 McCosh Street, Hanover with The Rev. Douglas C. Smith officiating. Burial will be held on Long Island at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331, toward a scholarship for a student wishing to obtain education for Registered Nursing education.
