Jeanne Little, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the age of 96.
Born in 1926 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Irma Serff. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, William Little, who died in 1992; a daughter, Patti Little; and a brother, Robert Serff, who, while serving his country, was killed in France during World War II. A 1944 graduate of Eichelberger High School, she was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, and did volunteer work at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center, Guthrie Memorial Library and Hanover Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Little and her husband, Andy Hoffman.
A private service will be held with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center Renovation Fund, 195 Stock Street-Suite 200, Hanover, PA 17331 or to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
