Services: A memorial mass of christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 220 Third St., Hanover.
Visitation: Visitation will be at the church Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Jeanne M. Britcher, 81, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care Friday morning, July 4, 2008 at Hanover Hall. She was the wife of the late Irl Thomas Britcher who died July 11, 1995. Born in Jersey City, NJ on March 15, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Otto and May Richardson Neumann. Mrs. Britcher had been a Supervisor for the Baltimore County Revenue Authority for 14 years retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, and the Ladies Auxilliary of both the Hanover Knights of Columbus and Hanover Amvets. Mrs. Britcher was also active in the community and often volunteered her talents at Clearview Terrace functions, as well as the St. Vincent Thrift Shop for several years, the Visiting Nurse Association and the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center. She graduated from Eichelberger High School with the class of 1945. Mrs. Britcher is survived by her sons Alan T. and his wife Deb of Hanover, Gary D. and his wife Patti of Pittsburgh, 2 grandchildren Shawn Britcher, Lisa Rummel, a great grandson Brandon Rummel, and her sister Jaqueline Nelson and husband Gibson of Middletown, NJ. A memorial mass of christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 220 Third St., Hanover. Visitation will be at the church Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Vincent Cemetery. The Rev. John A. Szada, Jr. will serve as celebrant. Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover is assisting the family with arrangements.
