Jean Marie Sullivan, 93, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born on Friday, October 26, 1928 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Monroe P. and Lillian Alwood Warner. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Richard Sullivan; and a grandson, Steven Sauble. A 1946 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Jean was a graduate of the Thompson Business School and was a former employee of Tanger and McCrory’s department stores. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and the Hanover Red Hat Society. Gifted with her hands, Jean enjoyed knitting, sewing and cross stitching, scrapbooking and decorating for the holidays, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her five children, Gregory Warner and his wife, Jackie, Deborah Sauble, and her husband Steve, all of Hanover, Michael Sullivan and his wife, Lisa, of Delaware, Kathi Cromer and her husband, Terry, and Timothy Sullivan, all of Hanover; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one Hour prior to the service.
