Jean T. LaLota, 91, entered into God's eternal care on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Paramount Nursing and Rehab at Chambersburg Road.
Born on Wednesday, January 2, 1929 in Manhattan, New York, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Filippa Palacino. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John P. LaLota, who died in 2014; and a son, Joseph LaLota, who died in 2005. A longtime member of St. Vincent dePaul Church, she loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.
Survivors include two children, James LaLota and Jeanie LaLota Fisher; four grandchildren, Daniel LaLota and his companion, Lauren, Nicholas LaLota and his wife, Kaylie, Anthony LaLota and his wife, Rebecca, and Adam Fisher and his wife, Savannah; six great-grandchildren, Maggie, Reagan, Brooke, Salvatore, Gianni, and Enzo LaLota; a fourth great-granddaughter, the daughter of Adam and Savannah, Everly Raelynn, expected in March 2021; and two daughters-in-law, Margaret and Kathy.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
