Jay P. Zumbrun, 67, of Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg.
Born on Saturday, October 24, 1953, he was a son of the late George Nelson Zumbrun and Joan Penton Sell. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Laura Holt; a step-mother, Helen Zumbrun; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Mattison. A 1971 graduate of North Carroll High School in Hampstead, MD, Jay worked at Harris Automotive as a mechanic for many years.
Survivors include three children, Christina Schwartz, Branden Zumbrun and his fiancée, Audrey Banach, and Brooke Jones; seven grandchildren, Alayna Schwartz, Aidan Crouse, Breanna Eller, Jaxson Zumbrun, Colton Zumbrun, Angelo Prestopine, and Savannah Miller; and nine siblings, Mark Zumbrun, Donna Holt, George Zumbrun, Jim, Mike, and Ron Spealman, Tracie Green, and Mary Mattison.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
