Janet D. “Jan” Lippy, 82, of Spring Grove, beloved wife of John A. Lippy, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 9, 2021 at ManorCare Health – York North.
Born on Thursday, August 11, 1938 in Erie, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Virginia Gunter Pruyn. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Costa; and a brother, Kenneth Pruyn.
In addition to her husband of 37 years, survivors include a son, David Gruzca; three grandchildren, Julia, Daniel and Emily; three sisters, Maryann Galbraith, Diane Bly and Nancy Salamonsen; and a brother, Gerald Pruyn.
Per Jan’s wishes, no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to the York County SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17402.
