The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover with Rev. Earl Heist officiating. Burial will follow in the Jefferson Cemetery.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends 4:30-6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
James Harrison Robinette, Sr., 75, loving husband of 55 years to Gretchen Wagner Robinette, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at his homeBorn, December 29, 1932, in Warfield, KY, he was the son of the late Argus and Dorothy Booth Robinette. Mr. Robinette retired in 1996, after 44 years of service, from General Motors. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Fellowship in Luthersville, MD, and was also a member of the American Legion.Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his seven children, James Robinette, Jr., Denise Warner both of Hanover, Dorothy Crissinger of Columbus, OH, Mary Avramidis of Glenville, Christopher Robinette of Thomasville, Eleanor Robinette of Baltimore, MD, and Evelyn Moore of Spring Grove; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
