Services: A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.
Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
James Allen JJ Pierce, Jr., 23, entered into God's care Saturday, April 25, 2009, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born December 20, 1985, in Germany, JJ was the son of Paula (Livelsberger) Pierce of Abbottstown and James A. Pierce, Sr. of Whiteville, N.C. He graduated from Whiteville High School Class of 2004 in Whiteville, N.C., and moved to the Abbottstown area after graduation. His last employment was at TimBar in New Oxford, and Town Sound in Hanover. JJ had a great love and passion for his motorcycle, music, having fun and hanging with his friends. He enjoyed riding every chance he got, he was a free spirit and lived everyday to the fullest. He had the gift to make you smile in any situation and loved his family and friends dearly. He will be sadly and eternally missed by his parents, maternal grandfather, George D. Livelsberger, Jr. of Abbottstown; paternal grandfather, Allen V. Pierce of Whiteville, N.C.; his aunts and uncles, Sharon and Joe Bair, Leona and Rick Baker, George D. Livelsberger, III, Diane and Bruce Dayhoff, Ruth Hardy (Bilz), Allen and Tammy Livelsberger, Anna May and Ken Grothey, all of Hanover, and Gail and Steve Mummert of Orrtanna, Barbara and Tim Miller, Donald and Cathy Livelsberger of Spring Grove, Victoria Bradley of Atlanta, Ga., and Gloria and Carl Cutler of Whiteville, N.C.; many cousins; close friends, Amy Klunk and Dan Klunk of New Oxford and Amanda Orendorff of McSherrystown; and many other dear friends.
